A Wonderful Start to the School Year at LLA!
The 2025–2026 school year is already off to an amazing start here at Londonderry Learning Academy! Our classrooms are buzzing with energy as children settle into their routines, get to know their teachers, and begin building the friendships that will carry them through a year full of learning and discovery. It has been such a joy to see new and returning students walk through our doors each morning, eager to explore, play, and grow.
At LLA, we believe that the classroom is more than just a place to learn—it’s a community. From the very first days of school, our teachers have been fostering an environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to try new things. The start of the year is all about relationship building, and it has been wonderful to watch the children connect with one another and form bonds that make their classroom feel like a second home.
Extracurricular Fun
In addition to our engaging daily curriculum, we’ve also launched our extracurricular enrichment programs, which are always a highlight for our students (& are all included in tuition!) This fall, children are enjoying:
Gymnastics – developing balance, strength, and confidence through fun, active movement.
Music – singing, rhythm, and instrument exploration that sparks creativity and joy.
Yoga – fostering mindfulness, focus, and body awareness in a playful way.
Dance – encouraging self-expression, coordination, and a love of movement.
Soccer – building teamwork, sportsmanship, and physical skills on the field.
These activities provide our students with opportunities to discover new interests, practice important life skills, and, of course, have a great time with friends!
Looking Ahead: Fall Explorations
As the leaves begin to change, our classrooms are ready to dive into fall-themed projects and hands-on learning experiences. The autumn season offers so many natural opportunities for curiosity and exploration—whether it’s studying seasonal changes, creating art inspired by nature, or celebrating the traditions that make this time of year so special. Our goal is always to connect learning with meaningful, real-world experiences, and fall is the perfect season to do just that.
